According to GM Authority, GM is responsible for 3/4 of the total full size SUV sales.
General Motors is responsible for three of every four vehicles sold in the full-size SUV segment. This year Chevrolet and GMC have sold over a combined 180,000 !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! , !!!error: Indecipherable SUB-paragraph formatting!!! sport utility vehicles. To put it in perspective, the revenue generated from sales of GM’s full size SUV’s alone is equal to that of a Fortune 400 company.
Today GM will show off their new batch of SUVs which will ride on variations of the 2014 Silverado/Sierra K2XX platform and feature the same brand new EcoTec3 engine family: 4.3L V6 - 285hp 305lb-ft; 5.3L V8 - 355hp 385lb-ft; 6.2L V8 - 420hp 460lb-ft

I'm pretty GM is still sticking to the story that the new Colorado/Canyon will not share engines with their bigger bros. Expect 2.5L 4cyl, 3.6L V6, and 2.8L 4cyl diesel Duramax with 350lb-ft!!

More reliable, but not as good looking. Completely irrational.
